Q:What makes your design better than previous designs?

A: Our design is based upon an understanding of the nature of transistors. It cancels the internal nonlinearity of the transistor elements of a gain circuit, that otherwise are uncorrected by circuit feedback.

Q: Why do you say feedback is insufficient to reduce distortion in solid state amplifiers?

A: The short answer is that the feedback signal from one stage or even from several stages together comes off the output of the gain stage. This means that distortion products are already out the gain stage before feedback can even control the distortion. Please contact us for more details.

Q: How would you convince me that feedback in practice is insufficient to control distortion?

A: Two parts: Show you the Science behind the nature of the PN Junction in transistors and provide a demo, so you can hear the difference for yourself. That is, of course, the best proof..

Q: If this is such a great technique, why hasn’t it been thought of previously?

A: This requires a complex answer, but the core of it is that the conventional approach is on a path started in the 50s and 60s, where feedback and design has been refined in a continuous but conventional (and sometimes ego driven) way. We applied a new paradigm that involves designing around how solid state devices actually operate, not previous designs.

Q: Do you have a patent?

A: Patent Pending Should issue soon.

Q” Do you have working prototypes?

A: Yes

Q: Is your design compatible with standard audio equipment?

A: Absolutely.

Q: Does your design require special microelectronic processes?

A: No.

Q: Does your design cost more than conventional products?

A: No. The cost is the same for similar scale production.

Q: We have our own designs. Why should we consider using yours?

A: Whoever gets there first will have the inside track on obsoleting all current audio technology.

Q: What is the market?

A: The market is vast, including an OPAMP refit market, consumer electronics, car audio, professional audio (mixers, sound reinforcement etc), recording chain, theater, and musical instrument amps, amongst others.

Q: What sort of products would this be good for?

A: The obvious first choice would be drop in replacement low distortion, high performance OPAMPS. Subsequently, we can provide a suite of products for other applications, such as a power amp driver, D-A converter, A-D converters and others.

Q: Are there applications beyond audio?

A: While the obvious advance is in the audio realm, the technique has applications for RF, video processing and hearing aids for examples.

Q: What is the downside to switching to this technology?

A: None.
